Being Closed Minded a Bad Thing?
"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the anti-christ. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works. "

Hmmm...who's really COMPLETELY open minded anyway?
I contend that EVERYONE is "close" minded about something - but they would never admit it because they believe themselves to be completely open-minded.
As to your post, I understand your point.

I am so glad that I came across your blog. It is wonderful. I thought this post was great and enjoyed reading all of your other posts as well. You have a true gift and talent. I strive to be firm in my relationship with Christ but not closed minded at life, theology, polotics, and other things as well. I want to stretch and grow and I don't think someone can do that if they aren't open minded. I will add your blog to my favs Matt. I hope to visit again soon brother!
