What we are to do is to live out of the Life of Christ in us which produces an awareness of LIFE not a life lived out of the good side of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

As for whether or not we're to sin... The blood of bulls and goats left people with a yearly "reminder of sins." People could not be perfected through them. "For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins." (Hebrews 10:1-4).
But in Christ, God has taken away sin by the once for all sacrifice of Jesus. We no longer live our lives in regard to being good vs. being sinful (good and evil), but in regard to the very Life of Christ that indwells us.
