The Bonsai Conspiracy

If anyone would like to read the Bonsai Conspiracy, I have a copy that Jamie & Ryan has at the moment. What I would LIKE to do is to pass it around to everyone who would like to read it and after they have read it, to sign it for me so that I can get it back with everyone's signature. It probably won't work, but so what? I'll give it a shot and see if anyone would like to.

I liked it, Bino. I didn't finish it all the way though. But it was good. Jamie loved it.

I read it, but didn't finish it either. Not sure why not. Probably one of those Anne Perry Mysteries calling my name. . . No, it just caused my brain to actually think and I find it a little more difficult with little creatures running about in this strange place I call home. Have you read 'HE Loves Me' yet? If you haven't I will have to have one sent to you. It is seriously such a great book to read!!!

Me first, me first!! Haha, no I am kidding really.............I like this idea Matt, it's such a fun way to connect us all! Do you want "Until Christ is Formed", by any chance, I could pass that along...........I loved it! (I only disagreed with one thing, I think...........that's rare!!)

Let me know.............. any other takers, this could be the weirdest book borrowing system ever!!

I would love to, Lydia! I wanted to read it a while back, but like Joel, I never got around to buying it. lol

Thank you!!

Out of curiosity, what did you disagree with?

LF,

I've not yet read He Loves Me. I've seen it at the bookstore and heard about it and I've thought about picking it up, but wasn't sure about it. I'm not yet sure how I feel about Wayne Jacobson lol. The thing that usually makes me uncomfortable is that Wayne and the other guy that do the God Journey podcasts don't use a lot of Scripture when they speak.

Does he use Scripture in the book? Sorry to nitpick...

Do you ship to Canada? I have been looking all over for a book borrowing club and they all seem to be state side. When I can make enough money I'm going to buy a bunch of books and put them in my provincial library system. Anyway, I love this idea. I have a few myself that I could lend out. Of course you probably would need to know who I am. :) My name is Cirra and I lurk around the grace blogs alot. Ncie to meet you Matthew.

Okay Matt, your copy is on it's way, then you can send it to whomever else may want it, okey dokey!!

As for the one thing, at some point in the book, Paul mentioned that the Holy Spirit will convict him of sin, I think he approached it with a no sense of condemnation mindset, but I just don't see it supported in Scripture, the Holy Spirit convicts us of our righteousness only once we are in Christ. He doesn't point out our faults. Anyway, I don't fault him for saying it. A lot of Christians think that is the way that we get "corrected" by God, by being convicted, but I simply do not agree. I believe the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth.........That was the one thing I had issue with other than that I had a lot of peace when I read this book!!

Leonard, I loved that book, and was so grateful it was available for free online! Too bad more books weren't like that, huh?

Slick Mama Cat is purring....................Haha!! She loves to see her kittens all playing together in such unity!! (giggle, giggle, cause no one knows what the hect I am talking about, 'cept for Mama Cat!)

The Fellowship of the Believers

42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Meoooow. ^^ ~

Thanks Leonard. For some odd reason I totally forgot it was a free download. . . In fact that is how I first read it. . .

I am sure there are loads of scriptual references in 'He Loves Me' MD I didn't really think about it when I read the book so I don't think it's an issue. I really think you will truly enjoy it!
